How it works

Three steps. You stay in your own browser the whole time.

  1. Bring in contacts

    Import LinkedIn’s official CSV export or paste a profile. CareerHound never logs into LinkedIn.

  2. Get a tailored draft

    The Hub writes a short note from that profile. Templates work with no AI key. Optional: Ollama, Groq, Gemini, or Claude.

  3. You click send

    Copy the draft, open the profile URL, paste, and send. That is the whole outbound path.

Is this against LinkedIn ToS?

CareerHound never logs into LinkedIn. We do not open linkedin.com, store a cookie jar, or send on your behalf. LinkedIn’s terms restrict unattended access by software on your account. This product is designed so it does not access LinkedIn. You still follow those rules when you paste and send yourself. See Trust.

Where is my data?

Local-first. Contacts, drafts, resumes, and logs stay on your machine. Optional cloud is only the AI provider you pick (unless you use local Ollama), FastSpring for checkout, and license checks if a server URL is set. We never hold a LinkedIn login. See Privacy.

Do I need an AI key?

No. Templates work with no key. Ollama is free and local (install it first). Groq and Gemini have free tiers with a key. Claude uses a paid key. Free includes a 7-day Pro trial with no card.
